What BioLog does
Log a sighting
A photo, the species, your field notes, and where you were. Pick a photo from your library and BioLog fills in its date and place when the photo has them.
See it on a map
Your sightings and the community's public ones, on one map. Public locations are rounded to about a kilometer; connections see the exact spot.
Get an ID suggestion
Not sure what you found? Ask for an AI suggestion. BioLog asks your permission first, and you can turn it off.
You choose who sees it
Keep a sighting private or make it public. Connect with other naturalists to see one another's finds.
Identifications can be wrong
Never eat, handle, or harvest anything based on an app. Check with a qualified expert, follow the rules for protected land and species where you are, and keep sightings of sensitive species private.
